氣爆當晚只差5分鐘 就揪出禍首

環保署南區毒物災害應變隊前晚九時卅分左右出動鑑識團隊赴高雄氣爆現場，一小時後抵達，只差五分鐘就辨識出氣體成分，未料遇氣爆，鑑識成員說，如果通報、出勤時間再早一點，結果可能不一樣。

參與鑑識的學者說，鑑識小組前晚九時卅分接獲環保署出勤電話，十時卅分到現場，約十一時五十分遇氣爆，車子、千萬元儀器幾乎全毀，五人被炸傷，二人在加護病房救治。

他說，當時在半途獲報地上有白色沉積物，直覺判斷是高壓液化的物質，朝乙烯、丙烯方向檢測，只差五分鐘結果就出來了，「很可惜」。
