絞架太驚人 斯里蘭卡行刑手辭職

斯里蘭卡新聘的絞刑行刑手在第一次見到絞架後，因過度驚嚇，決定辭職。

1976年後，斯里蘭卡從未執行過司法處決，但目前死囚區有逾400名囚犯。當局希望備妥絞刑行刑手，以備不時之需。前行刑手升格為獄警後，一年內已有3人放棄這項工作。最後辭職的這位年紀約四十歲，受訓數天後，第一次看過絞架後，即寫信向單位辭職。
