植樹節嘉義縣市同步植樹

今天是三月十二日植樹節，嘉義縣市分別在嘉義市港坪風雨球場、嘉義縣民雄鄉森林運動公園，同步辦理「植樹造林，呵護臺灣」活動，共有一千多位愛樹愛、環境的民眾參與，以具體行動綠美化環境、愛護地球。

　　嘉義市植樹活動中，嘉義林區管理處特別請來植樹達人，以生動有趣的方式，教導民眾如何正確植樹，提高樹木存活率。除了現場數百名民眾外，嘉義市四十五所各級學校，也同步響應，全市共種下約六千株的樹苗。

　　嘉義縣植樹活動中，則頒獎表揚綠美化成績優良並獲得全國模範社區的阿里山鄉茶山社區和中埔鄉灣潭社區。種植的樹木包括有：紅花風鈴木、黃連木、樟樹、光臘樹等。

　　嘉義林管處表示，三月是植樹月，三月底前嘉義林管處所屬工作站天天都有贈苗活動，還有捐血送樹苗、參與馬拉松慢跑送樹苗等，籲請民眾一起「植樹造林，呵護臺灣」。
