（中央社台北2014年9月15日電）根據日本經濟新聞的報導，日本將從10月1日起實施吸引外籍觀光客的新免稅制度，將新增食品類、飲料類、藥品類、化粧品類等商品為免稅項目，免稅門檻也降到約新台幣1400元。

日經報導指出，日本將從2014年10月1日起實施新的免稅制度來吸引外籍遊客。在此之前是家電、服飾、皮包等，每家店舖以消費1萬日圓以上為免稅對象。

從今年10月1日起，新增食品類、飲料類、藥品類、化粧品類、各地的特產、點心、地方酒等商品為免稅項目，新免稅項目每人在同一家店舖，一天消費總額達5000日圓到50萬日圓都可退稅。5000日圓約合新台幣1400元。

日經的報導說，免稅店只限定店外有標示「Japan．Tax-Free Shop」的店家。
