陸第6代低溫多晶矽面板線開工

（中央社台北2014年9月16日電）中國大陸首條第6代低溫多晶矽（LTPS）顯示面板生產線今天在武漢東湖高新區開工建設，2016年底實現量產，每年生產顯示面板或模組8800萬片，估產值人民幣逾百億元（新台幣495萬元）。

中新社報導，上述生產線由華星光電投資160億元（新台幣792億元），這是大陸國內首條採用上述世界領先顯示技術的生產線。

武漢華星光電總經理趙勇表示，全球智慧型移動式終端裝置的市場成長驚人，導致中小尺寸面板市場需求成長迅猛。

他說，目前中小尺寸顯示面板的市場總量已經超過大尺寸電視面板，中國國內中小尺寸面板市場當前處於供需失衡狀態，無法滿足智慧手機和平板電腦的市場需求，產品大量依賴進口。
