爆炸後整條馬路都是火　駕駛、民眾不知怎麼逃

高雄市昨晚發生史上最嚴重的氣爆事件，氣爆的威力如同地震，民眾從睡夢中驚醒。爆炸後的現場滿目瘡痍宛如戰爭現場，前鎮區、苓雅區陷入一片火海，整條馬路往左、往右看都是火，駕駛、民眾都不知道該往哪裡逃。

氣爆過後，原本車水馬龍的馬路崩壞綿延幾百公尺變成了壕溝，周遭的房子也都遭受波及，牆面受損、招牌傾斜、鐵捲門扭曲變形，甚至是頂樓的鐵皮屋頂也瞬間倒塌。路邊的車子不是翻覆就是被瓦礫擊中，整條馬路看不見完整的路面，宛如廢墟。

救難人員在現場來回穿梭，搶救傷患並找尋罹難者的遺體。路面被炸成壕溝，汽車翻覆，原本用來救援的消防車、救護車無一倖免，翻覆倒在瓦礫堆中。路邊的機車被兇猛的火勢燒到只剩下骨架。一旁好幾罐的滅火器仍然阻止不了悲劇的發生。
