該作的故事模式，除了承襲當初在 Xbox 360 版本上的「Original Mode」，還有目前在日本當地營運中的大型機台《女神騎士團．Ciel（カラドリウス エル・シエル）》的「Arcade Mode」，以及新加入可操控遊玩的角色與敵方 BOSS ，並實裝新系統的「Evolution Mode」這三種遊玩模式。而上述三種模式有著各自的攻略方法以及遊玩方式。此外，關於新系統的詳細情報將會在後續的報導中一一說明，請各位玩家敬請期待。
