教宗辦祈禱會 督促以巴對話

（法新社梵蒂岡8日電） 羅馬天主教宗方濟各（Pope Francis）今天與以色列總統裴瑞斯、巴勒斯坦領袖阿巴斯舉行史無前例的和平祈禱會，象徵性推動對話，但恐難有任何立即成效。

以巴雙邊關係再陷緊繃，主因巴勒斯坦在伊斯蘭主義組織哈瑪斯集團（Hamas）支持下組成團結政府，以色列則宣布計劃再興建3200戶新屯墾住宅。

對於和平祈禱儀式的效果，梵蒂岡抱持務實看法。

在梵蒂岡花園（Vatican Gardens）籌辦這場歷史性活動的中東方濟各會負責人皮薩巴拉神父（FatherPierbattista Pizzaballa）說：「大家都明白，聖地和平非一蹴可幾。」

「不過這一次，（雙方）已經很久沒有停下來喘口氣了。」教宗是在上個月出訪中東期間，向裴瑞斯（Shimon Peres）和阿巴斯（Mahmoud Abbas）提出這項建議。

皮薩巴拉說：「教宗希望把眼光放遠、放高。」他補充說：「不是每件事都靠政治解決。」（譯者：中央社蔡佳敏）
