張震以《繡春刀》入圍金馬影帝，是影帝名單中的唯一台灣演員，同時傳出他太太莊雯如已懷孕３個月，雙喜臨門。他的父親張國柱昨開心證實：「這是順其自然的事！張震去年11月結婚時，就說下半年要拚生子，果然水到渠成。」他開心將當爺爺：「只希望孩子健康就好。」

張國柱談起「健康」，對台灣的食安危機憂心忡忡，深恐影響兒子和孕婦。「現在大家都吃外食，吃進什麼也不知道。」他常勸兒子、兒媳要自理食物，他很欣慰媳婦燒得一手好菜，「她煮湯還真好喝。」

談到兒子入圍影帝，曾得過金鐘影帝的他說，「還是要看評審青睞，運氣、運氣。總是感到很光榮！多少有點自豪。」他現在偶爾接接戲，「我半退休，像是留職停薪啦！」看著兒子成家、立業全到位，他放心的享受半退休的悠閒生活。
