中國商務部17日公布，5月外商直接投資 (FDI)總額為86億美元，比去年5月下滑6.7%，也低於4月的87億美元總值。但今年1-5月的FDI仍比去年同期成長2.8%，總值489.1億美元。

中國歐盟商會上個月發布的調查顯示，歐洲公司對在中國投資變得更加謹慎。只有五分之一的受訪者表示，中國是其最新投資的首選目的地，遠低於一年前的三分之一比率。商務部表示，今年1-5月來自歐盟28個國家的FDI比去年同期下降22.1%。來自美國的FDI下降了9.3%，但來自韓國和英國的FDI則較去年大幅增長。
