港口宮進香 泰國媽祖也來

嘉義縣東石港口宮進香熱潮進入最高峰，昨天進香人數達7萬人，廟前廣場被進香團擠得水洩不通，就連分靈到泰國的媽祖廟這星期也要回港口宮參拜，而這也是港口宮建廟330年來，首次有泰國的媽祖廟前來進香。

前晚夜宿港口宮香客大樓的人數約2500人，到了昨天早上6點許，來自各地的進香團就陸續湧入，進香隊伍從廟前廣場排到距離約300公尺處的拱門，光是停車場的大型遊覽車就超過50輛。

由於進香人數非常多，位於港口宮前的嘉7線完全被進香團堵住，警方昨天即實施交管。警方表示，到4月23日前，只要遇到假日，嘉7線都會實施交管，請駕駛人配合繞道而行。
