平均年齡上升 美國人口出現老化跡象

去年美國年輕成年人口數比戰後嬰兒潮世代還多，但平均年齡為37歲，比往年還高，2059年更將升至41歲，顯示人口有老化趨勢。

從1947年到2010年期間，美國人口最多的年齡層都是出生在二次大戰後的18年期間。1947年以剛出生的零歲人口最多，2010年則以50歲人口最多。

美國人口普查局估計，去年人口最多的年齡層是22歲，53歲的戰後嬰兒潮世代人口已降至第四。人口第二多的年齡層是23歲，第三多的則是21歲。

以10歲為一個單位來看，美國20至29歲的人口最多，超越任何一個年齡層，反觀2010年則以40至49歲人口最多。

不過，去年美國民眾的平均年齡為37歲。人口普查局預測，平均年齡將持續上升趨勢，在2059年達到41歲。相較之下，1970年的平均年齡為27歲，1930年則為26歲。
