陳仙梅懷孕７個月，最近在家安心養胎，日前和朋友帶著愛犬陳艾美出遊，到林口山上看油桐花，山路很窄，13歲的陳艾美走在前面，牠視力不好，越走越靠近山邊，她大喊：「陳艾美，不要跑遠！」話還沒講完，狗就滑落，卡在半山腰動彈不得，她傻眼了，哭得梨花帶淚，「還沒真正的孩子，光是毛孩子，我整個就快崩潰了！」

她回憶時差點又哭出來。她說，當時天色漸暗，朋友找人幫忙，她１人在山坡邊安撫狗，牠滑得很深，只看見一個小白點，正不知如何是好，一輛吉普車竟然駛來，她趕緊攔車，一對中年夫妻出手相助，先生在沒繩子的情況下下山坡抱狗，她連忙道謝。她說，吉普車有「救難隊」貼紙，「真的老天有保佑！我們不是去熱門景點，路又小條，怎麼會有車進來？」
