NBA獲得更優渥的轉播權利金，小皇帝LeBron James大聲疾呼：老闆們不能再裝窮了，該照顧球員了吧？

「雖然我不是工會領袖，但說話也有點份量，」LBJ說，「而且我對這事情有點研究，所以我會盡全力，確保球員得到照顧。」

根據紐約時報，新的轉播合約每年帶給聯盟的收入是26.6億美元，比起現在的9.3億，翻了快3倍。

「上次勞資談判的時候，老闆們一直喊賠錢，但最近好幾支球隊都賣了不錯的價錢，下次再談判，老闆們可不能再裝窮了。」James說。

2011年NBA封館161天，才談出目前的勞資協議，不過2016-17球季結束後，勞資雙方都可以跳脫這份協議，球員該如何爭取權益？

「球員們想賺更多錢、想談出最棒的協議，卻對這些資訊一無所知，這是我們的問題，」LBJ說，「聯盟裡有30位老闆，卻有超過400名球員，球員們必須掌握相關消息，才不會不曉得該怎麼辦。」

「球員工會也好、老闆也好，都該知道我們最重要的課題，那就是讓這產業更加蓬勃發展。籃球是世界上最熱門運動之一，我們得維繫這種地位才行。」
