上百名前國道收費員因為不滿交通部與高公局安排的協調會議室太小，無法容納所有收費員，發生言語衝突後全部衝進交通部，警察阻擋無力。

今天上午近兩百位前國道收費員到交通部前抗議，並與高公局協商，希望能以國家的方式安置收費員，收費員年資比照過去交通部民營化的案例處理，但高公局安排的會議室太小，無法容納所有代表與參與在場外的收費員，因此爆發衝突，所有收費員一擁而上衝進交通部，現場的警力無力攔阻，目前收費員已經佔領交通部一樓大廳，並高喊交通部圖利遠通，要求部長葉匡時能出面解決。

國道收費員自救會總幹事孫秀鑾指出，遠通電收媒合失業的收費員，但過程中行徑惡劣羞辱勞工，講到激動處有不少資深收費員紛紛落淚，並指稱為了國家服務一輩子，沒想到既然換得如此下場，希望國家能出面解決。
