（法新社渥太華23日電） 加拿大總理哈珀（Stephen Harper）今天宣布，5月將派500名觀察員監督烏克蘭大選。

哈珀在聲明中說，觀察團「將有助於確保即將舉行的烏克蘭大選自由、公平，確保民主和治理成為新政府基石」。

烏克蘭將於5月25日提前舉行大選，票選遭罷黜前總統亞努科維奇（Viktor Yanukovych）的接班人。
