【時報記者江俞庭台北報導】德州儀器(TI)宣佈，在其藍牙低功耗產品系列中全面支援蘋果iBeacon技術。

iBeacon是一種隨iOS7推出的技術，其採用藍牙低功耗和地理柵欄為應用程式提供全新的微定位感知水準，如公園裡的路標、博物館裡的展示品或商店裡的產品展示。

德儀表示，旗下無線微控制器(MCU)的Bluetooth Smart、汽車連結裝置的藍牙雙模、針對汽車連結的WiLink 8和WiLink 8Q的Wi-Fi 及藍牙組合型連結。

此外，德儀並推出一款運用iBeacon技術及支援SimpleLink SensorTag開發套件的新型定位應用程式，以及新型低成本、小尺寸廣播器參考設計。
