（中央社紐約16日綜合外電報導）日本本田公司（Honda）推出的最新人型機器人ASIMO能走能跑，還能上下樓梯。它能打開瓶蓋並為你端上一杯飲料，還會很有禮貌地伸手和陌生人握手。

法新社與美國科技新聞網站CNET報導，ASIMO今天在紐約曼哈頓1間飯店現身，這是它在美國的初次亮相。它用錄下的青少年聲音講英語向大家問好：「哈囉紐約！謝謝你們今天前來！」

ASIMO就像個小小太空人，他身穿白色裝備、戴著頭盔，身高大約1.3公尺，體重50公斤。

ASIMO是Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility的簡稱，設計主旨是服務人類，包括行動不便的人類。科學家致力研究人類動作，希望能成功複製，開發14年後，ASIMO第一版模型於2000年亮相。

最新展示展現了ASIMO增加的彈性和平衡感，現在ASIMO可以跳躍、比手語，還能以時速9公里奔跑。
