華爾街日報報導，iPhone 6太過搶手，主要供應商富士康儘管卯足全力，仍然難以滿足需求，蘋果粉絲「果粉」恐怕還要耐心等個幾周。
報導引述知情人士指出，富士康鄭州生產基地現在已有20萬多名員工專門生產iPhone 6，而且24小時運轉的生產線已達百條，但富士康仍在增聘人手以趕上出貨熱潮。
報導指出，富士康當前的挑戰是同時生產兩款結構複雜的iPhone 6，因為富士康是5.5吋螢幕iPhone 6Plus的唯一組裝商，同時還得提供大部分的4.7吋iPhone 6。
知情人士表示，廠方每天都要生產14萬支iPhone 6Plus和40萬支iPhone 6，這是有史以來最高的日產量，但這樣的產量仍無法滿足訂單需求。
蘋果公司美國網路商店表示，iPhone 6 Plus較少，等待時間更長，需要3至4周，而iPhone 6可以在7至10個工作日內拿到。
上述知情人士表示，公司仍在增加iPhone 6 Plus的生產線，供應不足的另一個原因是5.5吋的顯示器數量不夠。
顯示器零件供應商說，5.5吋螢幕的產出率只有50%至60%左右，意味著不合格產品占了近半。但4.7吋的產出率可達85%。 1030918
