新站比較大的問題是站前的動線不良，最新的都更資料顯示飯店會繼續經營，公車與私家車出入還是會擠在建國路這。建國市場不是公有地嗎，如果拆遷之後蓋間大樓讓飯店、補習班…等進駐，業者還是一樣保有離車站最近最好的區位，應該不會吃虧才是。

這個問題如果不處理掉，以後橘線的路線不曉得要怎麼安排，先不管它的系統到底是MRT還BRT，建造的型式也不管是高架、平面或是地下(施工期)，衝擊都會很大。
