北市爭取修法 監視器抓違規

【陳思豪╱台北報導】為降低交通事故，北市府交通會報昨決議向警政署爭取修法，未來讓警員透過全市1.3萬支監視器畫面取締交通違規。警政署回應，等北市警局來文，再研議適法又不侵犯民眾隱私的作法。

北市交通大隊昨公布交通事故統計數據，今年上半年事故發生件數與受傷人數分別為1萬203件與1萬3611件，和前三年上半年平均數1萬3件、1萬3201件相比，各成長200與410件。
市府交通顧問蔡中志建議，盼學韓國「科技執法」，透過監視器取締減少警力浪費。只要先在網上公告，就可依法舉發。
交通大隊大隊長張夢麟說，監視器主要是事後舉發違停，但受限《道路交通管理處罰條例》七之二條，事後舉發需「當場不能或不宜攔截製單舉發」，去年兩度行文警政署爭取都未放行。
北市副市長張金鶚裁示，請北市警局向中央反映修改法令，若上路會建立標準。民眾楊先生說，政府應努力抓逃稅大戶，不是成天想開民眾罰單。
