國民黨希望立法院下周起舉行臨時會，處理監察院人事同意權案。據了解，由於法定監委就職日為8月1日，總統府7月17日已發出就職典禮邀請函。為了請立法院長王金平協助排除可能的議事障礙，國民黨團考慮請國民黨榮譽主席連戰當說客，趕在法定日期前，完成這項人事案。
