美元兌英鎊創5年新低

高盛調高對英國今年的國內生產毛額(GDP)成長預估、加上英國6月採購經理指數(PMI)表現優於預期，激勵英鎊走挺，美元兌英鎊1日來到5年新低。
隨著美國汽車銷售和中國大陸製造業數據亮麗，美股道瓊工業指數和標準普爾指數1日雙雙創下新高。
至於受到市場密切關注的美國6月採購經理指數(PMI)則降至55.3，表現不如預測的55.8。這是美國今年來僅次於5月55.4的第二高PMI值。
歐元兌美元從6月30日的1.3692美元兌1歐元來到1.3677美元；日圓兌美元從101.32日圓來到101.53日圓。
在此同時，英國6月PMI指數來到57.5，優於預期，激勵英鎊兌美元來到5年來最高點。在格林威治時間1日22時(台灣時間2日上午6時)，英鎊兌美元從6月30日的1.7106美元兌1英鎊，升值至1.7150美元。
