不敵市場改變 JK羅琳的出版商裁員

旗下作家包括JK羅琳(JK Rowling)在內的樺榭出版集團(Hachette Book Group)，以「改變中的市場環境」為由，正針對部份員工進行裁員。
隸屬法國拉卡戴爾集團(Lagardere)的樺榭出版集團5日發表聲明指出，為了改善它在艱難時刻的「彈性」，縮減員工人數是有必要的。不過樺榭也表示，受到裁員影響的員工不到總人力的3%。
除了JK羅琳之外，樺榭出版集團旗下的名作家還包括「暮光之城」(Twilight)的史蒂芬妮．梅爾(Stephenie Meyer)、以及柯貝爾(Stephen Colbert)等。
樺榭出版集團指出，在它最近和亞馬遜(Amazon.com)的爭議之前，就已經決定進行裁員。
電子書的推廣已經嚴重威脅傳統圖書出版商的利益。2010年開始，樺榭等出版公司就集體要求亞馬遜開放電子書的定價主導權，加劇傳統出版商和亞馬遜之間的矛盾。亞馬遜在上個月宣布，不再接受樺榭出版的圖書，現有圖書銷售完畢後將不再補貨。
