流行服飾失寵、iPhone成美青少年身份地位象徵

青少年服飾失寵，不再是年輕人花最多錢的地方。Piper Jaffray研究發現，現今的青少年把iPhone等視為身份地位象徵，血拼經費大多用於購買電子產品。

IBTimes和CNET報導，Abercrombie & Fitch Co.、American Eagle Outfitters等，今年第1季獲利走低，原因可能不只受到酷寒天氣拖累。Piper Jaffray資深研究分析師Stephanie Wissink指出，2005年流行服飾代表青少年的人氣度，如今已被食物取而代之；青少年花最多錢在用餐，若真的解囊購物，首選商品也不是衣服，而是電子裝置。

Fordham University副教授Marcia Flicker表示，科技搶食青少年花費，iPhone 6推出時他們會買新機，還是用舊的iPhone 5，或是更老摳摳的iPhone 4？青少年表現社會地位的方式改變，但重要性仍一如以往。

蘋果(Apple)粉絲的品牌忠誠度驚人，其他廠商難以企及。Business Tech 20日報導，WDS調查顯示全球75%蘋果受訪者表示，換機後將繼續使用蘋果產品；第二名的三星(Samsung)僅有54%。WDS調查的七大品牌中(蘋果、三星、諾基亞、黑莓、宏達電、LG、Sony)，宏達電(2498)用戶忠誠度排行第五、為28%，僅優於LG和Sony。
