台東大學搬遷 原校區利用受關注

國立台東大學將在年底前全部搬遷到知本校區，數千名師生撤走，不僅影響商圈發展，原位在台東市精華路段的校地運用，也成為外界關注的焦點。

台東大學指出，隨著各學院的陸續搬遷，未來教學與行政重心將移轉到知本校區，原位在台東市區中華路的校區，將保留行政大樓、圖書館及教學大樓，作為進修教育推廣部，及籌設南島文化中心、深海資源中心特色研究中心、創新研發等用途，其餘的建築與場館將釋出和地方政府合作。

台東大學校區緊鄰鐵道藝術村、秀泰影城和鯉魚山、誠品書局等地連成一片，是台東市區精華商圈；但是，學校用地分屬於縣政府與台東市公所，還需透過都市計畫變更為商業使用，有許多技術面待克服，能否在師生撤走時「無縫接軌」，牽涉到商圈的榮衰，各界關注。
