洋基隊長一割男 教頭不擔心 記者楊政典／綜合報導 洋基隊長Derek Jeter目前熱身賽打擊率0.167，但總教練Joe Girardi一點都不擔心。 「我想Jeter擊球時間亂掉了，」Girardi說，「他有時會拉擊來球，這是不常見的。不過 ，春訓才剛開始，不必擔心有點年紀的球員。」 Girardi拿前年的Raul Ibanez當例子，當時Ibanez熱身賽也是打得亂七八糟，「還記得那 時Lou Piniella告訴我，別擔心Ibanez，到了熱身賽最後一個禮拜，一定會敲安打的。」 Girardi說，「Piniella說對了，要到最後一個禮拜才見真章。」 後來Ibanez例行賽打出19轟，更在季後賽成為洋基隊英雄。 今年熱身賽Jeter前10打數掛蛋，接下來5打數4安打，似乎走出低潮，沒想到隨之而來的 ，卻是另一波9支0。「有時候，有點年紀的球員，就是需要比較長的時間，才能進入狀況 。」Girardi說。 洋基隊另一位準名人堂級球星：鈴木一朗，熱身賽打擊率更低，來到0.143，不利爭取上 場機會。洋基隊找來Jacoby Ellsbury、Carlos Beltran，加上原有的Alfonson Soriano、 Brett Gardner，外野競爭激烈。 到底洋基隊要排出哪三位球員，擔任先發外野手？Girardi不願給確定答案：「船到橋頭 自然直，事情無從預測。我們現在要做的，就是幫助每個人準備好，迎接開幕。」
