Google傳將推行動通訊App 首先搶登印度等新興市場

《路透社》周五 (3日) 引述報導，網路搜尋龍頭 Google Inc. ( (US-GOOG) ) 據稱計畫推出一款行動通訊應用程式，而首先將於印度和其他新興市場內進行測試工作。

原始報導《經濟日報》指出，Google 此計畫目前仍處於早期開發階段，而要使用該通訊應用程式，據悉不會強迫用戶登入 Google 帳號。

推出本程式後，Google 即將加入 WhatsApp、Line 和 Hike 等對手互較高下的行動通訊市場。Google 同時也正推行本地化工作，計畫加入印度語言支援服務，以及語音輸入功能。

Google 發言人對此報導回應指出，公司對於傳言不願表示意見。

Google 股價昨日收盤上漲 0.32％報 570.08 美元。
