走了詹姆斯（LeBron James），熱火的關注度下降，韋德（Dwyane Wade）表示，新賽季有益於球員的減壓。

詹姆斯回歸騎士，韋德認為東區看起來又回到了當初的狀態。

「騎士和公牛成為了東區新的熱門球隊，這很好！」韋德在接受採訪時說：「這意味着我們(熱火)可以低調前行，只要我們努力打球，新賽季會得到收獲。」

今年夏天熱火引進格蘭傑（Danny Granger）、麥克羅伯茨（Josh McRoberts）、魯爾-鄧（Luol Deng）和雷吉-威廉斯（Reggie Williams）。

韋德認為關注度降低，有益於球員陣容大換血所帶來的影響。「現在這樣，讓每個球員都感到放鬆，」韋德說：「這有利於新賽季的發揮。」
