【時報-台北電】台灣最大的顯示器展Touch Taiwan將在8月27日登場，除了台灣本土面板大廠之外，也吸引日本、大陸多家面板廠共襄盛舉，總計今年參展攤位增加了58％。除了面板大廠技術比拚之外，在展覽期間將舉辦百場商貿洽談會，預估一年內交易額將達9,000萬美元。

進入第三屆的Touch Taiwan展覽，報名廠商數連年增加，今年Touch Taiwan展覽已晉升成為全球前兩大、最具影響力之觸控、面板暨光學膜製程、設備、材料展覽，也是全世界唯一通過UFI國際展覽產業協會認證的相關展覽會。預估今年展覽規模將達1,100個展位、400家廠商，超過10個海外廠商參展、並有超過15個國家的採購、研發、行銷人員來台，總專業參觀者至少3萬人。

展會第一天將頒發年度平面顯示器元件產品技術獎Gold Panel Awards，頒發卓越技術獎3名、傑出元件獎9名及一名傑出人士貢獻獎。展覽匯集台灣面板大廠友達、群創、華映、元太，以及國際大廠康寧、旭硝子、夏普、FUK等。（新聞來源：工商時報─記者袁顥庭／台北報導）
