【時報記者沈培華台北報導】美國頂級皮件精品hartmann於2014年正式進軍台灣，昨（15）日於台灣首家店櫃－板橋大遠百2F舉行開幕儀式，美商新秀麗台灣分公司總經理林福平、遠東百貨（2903）集團總經理徐雪芳共同參與剪綵儀式。

美國頂級精品品牌hartmann誕生於1877年，為社會名流及貴族所指定，2012年hartmann被新秀麗集團併購，讓這個擁有悠久歷史的品牌重新獲得活力。hartmann被併購後的全球第1家店已於6月底於北京開幕，全球第2家店即台灣的板橋大遠百2F，店櫃設計巧妙地薈萃古典與時尚，商品種類包括旅行箱、商務公事包、旅行包袋、男女皮件等。

美商新秀麗台灣分公司總經理林福平表示，hartmann於2012年被新秀麗集團併購後，為新秀麗集團品牌組合中的重要新成員，主要拓展高檔行李箱市場。至2014年底，hartmann預計將在亞洲區展店25家，台灣預計有3家店，鎖定一級精品百貨商圈進駐，吸引高消費族群。
