高雄市1日凌晨發生氣爆，進入緊急狀況，市府在凌晨通知1日苓雅和前鎮區停班、停課，並疏散民眾至附近國高中。

凌晨大爆炸，讓苓雅和前鎮區的大部分民眾都被驚嚇到，有人說像是地震一樣，後來知道是瓦斯油氣爆炸，還有人受傷，警消在社區指揮疏散。

民眾被疏散到英明國中、光華國中和瑞祥高中等，市府說目前以救災和安置控制災情為優先任務。
