日本人抽菸率 首度跌破20%

由於消費稅增稅導致香煙價格上漲、以及健康因素等因素，今年日本人的抽菸率自1965年開始調查以來首次跌破20%，降至19.7%。

根據日本煙草產業公司的調查，今年日本人的抽菸率比去年減少1.2%，降至19.7%，這是連續19年刷新過去的最低紀錄。其中，男性抽菸率比去年減少1.9個百分點，降至30.3%，女性抽菸率減少0.7個百分點，降至9.8%，也是首次跌破10%。日本煙草產業公司認為，這是因為今年4月消費稅稅率由5%提高為8%，導致香菸價格上漲，此外，健康意識提高也是造成吸菸率下滑的重要原因。

日本人抽菸率的高峰是1966年，高達49.4%的日本人抽菸，幾乎每兩個人中就有1個人抽菸，但是此後逐漸減少，今年調查時已經降至5個人中才有一個人抽菸。日本煙草產業公司認為，由於對抽菸的限制不斷增加，幾乎在所有年齡層抽菸率都下降，這種趨勢今後應該還會持續下去。

日本煙草產業公司每年5月進行調查，今年共對全日本約3.2萬人進行了問卷調查，獲得了1.9萬多人的回答。
