與阿富汗民兵組織神學士換俘獲釋的美國大兵柏格達已轉為門診病人，不須再全天候待在德州的軍醫院內，不過，軍方對他的所在仍嚴格保密。

陸軍發言人說：「他的重返社會進程仍在持續中。準備讓他與更多人接觸，逐步提高他的社會互動。」

透過換俘交易，28歲的柏格達5月31日重獲自由，迄今他對遭神學士俘虜的5年歲月仍未做任何公開說明。
