【時報-台北電】德國工業巨擘西門子上周五宣布，公司進行大規模組織重整時，全球約有將近1.2萬名員工的飯碗會受到「影響」，但該公司強調這並非裁員人數。

西門子新任執行長凱瑟爾（Joe Kaeser）出席紐約的分析師和投資人會議時表示，他在5月初提出的削減成本計畫，可望為「整體組織帶來顯著的改變」。

西門子發言人費德烈克（Michael Friedrich）表示，凱瑟爾打算將公司的16個部門整併至9個，並削減管理層級，如此一來有7,600個職務將受到「影響」，另外4,000個職位將因為區域業務重編產生異動。

換言之，西門子最高將有1.16萬名員工的工作機會遭受威脅，但凱瑟爾堅稱這並不是裁員人數。他透過書面聲明表示，「我的確提到這些數字，但我也要強調這些職務可能是調動到其他地方。」(新聞來源：工商時報─記者顏嘉南／綜合外電報導)
