首例本土霍亂病例通報

（中央社記者陳清芳台北2014年5月30日電）疾病管制署今天宣布今年首例本土霍亂病例，衛生機關刻正進行飲食相關調查，以瞭解可能的感染來源。

衛生福利部疾病管制署表示，5月24日接獲1例霍亂病例通報，經檢驗確認感染產毒性霍亂弧菌（血清型O1Ogawa）。個案為53歲男性，居住於南部，職業為卡車司機，經常往來北部與南部縣市，三餐以外食為主。

衛生機關刻正進行飲食相關調查，以瞭解可能的感染來源。其同住家屬3人目前均無疑似症狀，衛生單位已採集家屬的檢體送驗，並指導居家環境消毒。

台灣於2011年至2013年期間分別有2、5、7名本土確定病例，其中2011年1名86歲女性患者（同時罹患癌症）死亡。
