失分被盜壘 紅襪叫囂爆衝突

處在連敗的低迷氣氛，落後5分又被光芒的Yunel Escobar盜壘，紅襪球員嚥不下這口氣，互相叫囂後雙方板凳淨空，最後紅襪此戰以5比8輸球，苦吞近期10連敗。

去年的世界大賽冠軍紅襪，近期陷入空前低潮，今天(26日)對上光芒又輸苦吞10連敗，是隊史自1994年的11連敗之後，近20年的最慘紀錄。

此戰的衝突引爆點在7局下，當時Escobar敲出2分打點二壘安打，光芒已經取得5分領先，但Escobar在二壘上並不安分，他衝上三壘，紅襪捕手A.J. Pierzynski沒有傳球所以不記盜壘成功。

Escobar站上三壘之後，打擊區的Jose Molina跟捕手Pierzynski兩人都念念有詞，Escobar也跟紅襪休息室開始互相叫囂，進而引發板凳淨空衝突，最後Escobar、Sean Rodriguez、紅襪Jonny Gomes都被裁判驅逐出場。

衝突過後，紅襪並沒有上演奇蹟逆轉秀，9局上追回2分之後，最終以5比8輸球。

被趕出場的Gomes談到，「Escobar想要盜壘就盜壘，這沒問題，我並非關注在這點上。但對著我們休息室嗆聲就是不行的，他還把頭盔拿了下來，這不就是在挑釁整個休息室的球員嗎？」

紅襪總教練John Farrell則說：「第7局我們落後5分，這是盜壘與否的灰色地帶。Escobar會做一些讓人意想不到的事情，這就是突如其來的意外之舉。」

賽後Escobar並不願意多說，同樣遭到驅逐出場的Rodriguez解釋，「我們會衝出去，是因為紅襪正對著我們的球員大吼，而雙方距離非常近，出去只是為了保護我們的隊友。」
