【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】美國輝瑞藥廠周日宣布將收購英國同業AstraZeneca的出價提高到693億英磅（1166億美元），即每股55英磅。輝瑞亦表示，這是最後的出價，如果AstraZeneca仍不接受，輝瑞將退出這項收購案。

輝瑞希望創立全球最大的藥品公司，以紐約做為總部，但採用英國的稅基制度，因為英國的企業稅率低於美國。輝瑞提出的收購案一直遭到AstraZeneca頑強的抵制，而許多官員與科學家因擔心員工與研究遭到裁撤，亦紛紛表達強烈的反對。

輝瑞周日表示，新的價碼將是最後的出價，已不能再提高。輝瑞並表示不會直接向AstraZeneca股東進行惡意要約，僅將遵照AstraZeneca董事會提出的建議案進行出價。

輝瑞亦將出價的現金部分提高到45％，AstraZeneca股東所持有的每一股將獲得合併後企業的1.747股股分與24.76英磅現金。
