印度法院裁決禁止鬥牛活動 反應兩極

英國廣播公司報導，印度最高法院7日裁定禁止泰米爾納德邦（Tamil Nadu）的鬥牛活動「加裡卡圖」（Jallikattu）。加裡卡圖為泰米爾納德邦的年度傳統活動，數千名男子追逐牛隻並設法取得綁在牛角上的獎品。

法官認為，這項活動「嚴重傷害」牛隻，違反動物法，且每年都有數十人在活動中受傷甚至死亡。動物保護團體樂見法院判決，但也有不少人認為，這是當地留傳逾兩千年、不可抹滅的文化。
