供應鏈透露，蘋果規劃將基本款的 4.7吋iPhone 6提早一個月於 8月上市，高階款的大尺寸（5.5或5.6吋）機種則如預期於 9月上市，目標是iPhone 6今年總出貨量約8,000萬支，比先前市場傳言的6,000萬支多出約33%。

據了解，蘋果已開始從零組件供應商拉貨，第一階段拉貨潮從砷化鎵開始啟動，全新等業者是最早感受到Phone 6備貨潮的業者；大立光等業者也將陸續出貨給蘋果，由鴻海、和碩等代工組裝。～經濟日報2014年 5月 9日頭版頭條
