東南亞爆發疫情 蝦價漲抵14年新高

由於疾病導致養殖蝦大量死亡，最近幾個月來蝦價已升抵14年新高，迫使餐廳與超市紛紛漲價因應。

彭博資訊報導，消費者今年到連鎖餐廳Noodles & Co.點義大利麵或泰式炒麵，放蝦子要加價29%；Cheesecake Factory餐廳調漲蝦類料理的價格；民眾也發現超市的蝦子變貴。

這可能使原已因消費者信心脆弱而辛苦經營的餐廳業，獲利進一步受衝擊。更糟的是，這段時間正值天主教的四月齋期，部分消費者禁食肉類將使餐廳的海鮮需求大增。

根據勞工部統計，3月蝦子價格比一年前勁揚61%，主因是東南亞地區養殖場爆發疫情，大量幼蝦感染細菌性疾病蝦類早期死亡綜合症（EMS），導致供應量銳減。

專家指出，2009年中國最早通報出現感染案例，之後疫情蔓延到越南、馬來西亞和泰國，去年墨西哥也發現疫情。
