教長看學運世代：學生多元能力 給肯定

教改廿年是成功還是失敗？教育部長蔣偉寧昨天指出，教改很有理想性，培養有多元能力的菁英，雖受考試制度、家長觀念等影響，實際運作不盡如意，但大方向是好的；這次學運的學生也是教改環境下成長的孩子，他要肯定他們的多元能力。

學界對教改多所批評。蔣偉寧指出，教改大方向是對的，強調學生多元能力的培養，不以成績來論斷成就；教育部近期會啟動檢討機制，好的政策會繼續推動，做不好的部分會修正，並擇期對外說明檢討結果。

有人認為這次太陽花學運是教改讓大學過多、學歷貶值、年輕人看不到未來的「惡果」；但也有人稱讚學生勇於展現自己，參與公共事務，是教改成果。

蔣偉寧昨天受訪時表示，教改跟學運關聯性不大，服貿議題是這次學運導火線，其他原因包括青年無法掌握未來等。

他說，在他那個世代，國家、社會發展正逢谷底，很容易就往上發展；但現在台灣經濟發展不上不下，年輕人難掌握未來，政府應要努力，讓年輕人更有競爭力。

對於法務部長羅瑩雪表示將依法追究參與學運者的違法責任一事，蔣偉寧說，尊重羅瑩雪的決定，但以教育的立場，希望能在法律範圍內給學生最大的寬容。
