丕優研究中心14日公布調查結果，顯示美國網路用戶約有18%曾碰到銀行帳戶之類的重要個人資料遭竊，而且這種問題似乎愈來愈嚴重。

在去年年中的類似民調，有11%網民表示個資曾遭竊，而今年1月的民調顯示遇害者激增。有21%網民也表示電郵或社群網帳戶曾遭侵入。

丕優研究人員說，隨著美國網民更加投入線上生活，他們對網路上有關自己的大量個資益發感到關切，有50%的人對此表示不安，比率遠高於2009年的33%。

一名52歲黃姓婦人去年8月6日上午7時許騎乘重型機車，行經台中市烏日區溪南路時，不慎追撞前方機車，造成張姓騎士人車倒地，並有右側脛骨閉鎖性骨折、右小腿挫傷等。黃婦向警方供稱，她因看到一隻烏龜在路邊爬行，忍不住一直看，想知道牠要爬到哪裡去，才會不小心撞上前方機車。

不過，不知是否是警方速度過慢，因為當警方趕到現場時，烏龜已經不見蹤影，無法確認黃婦所說是否為真。台中地檢署依傷害罪將黃女起訴，黃女最高可判刑6月。(鄧玉瑩／台中報導)

彰化縣員林鎮昨發生5死火警，痛失爸爸、媽媽、爺爺、奶奶和妹妹等至親的何欣懌，回家看到被燒成焦屍的家人，面無表情，讓親友心疼，二伯母流著淚抱著他，「你就大哭一場！哭出來吧！」但他始終沒有落淚，給人堅強的印象。

5名罹難者的遺體也移靈至台中市立殯儀館，何欣懌回員林處理火災調查相關事宜，上午未現身靈堂，由他二伯母幫忙打理喪葬事宜。

二伯母心疼他，紅著眼哭著說，這孩子從小就很乖、很內向，不善與人溝通，看得出來他很難過，但卻強忍在心裡不哭，其實他並不堅強，只是不習慣在外人面前落淚。

二伯母說，昨晚回到她家，她對何欣懌說，你如果難過就哭出來，家裡都是親人，沒有關係，說完後，他當場情緒崩潰，忍不住痛哭失聲。(朱俊彥／台中報導)

南韓貿易協會 (KITA)指出，南韓企業在中國大陸的投資落後日本，因此南韓企業在大陸消費市場可能被日本競爭者擊敗，尤其是流通及服務業。

KITA指出，2004 -13年間日本在中國大陸投資額為529億美元，南韓為361.5億美元。日本約是南韓的1.5倍；「去年南韓企業的投資額占中國外人直接投資總額的比例，已由2004年時的10.3%，下降到2.6%。」

日本從2005年開始超越南韓。2011-13年日本對中國投資明顯增加，總額為207.4億美元，遠超過南韓的85.4億美元。

南韓企業在大陸的投資較集中於製造業，日本則選擇流通業及服務業。日本聚焦於消費市場，而大陸消費市場未來可能出現爆發性的成長；如果投資差距持續擴大，南韓可能喪失在消費市場的占有率。
