美國總統歐巴馬14日與俄國總統普亭首度通電話討論烏克蘭東部動亂危機。歐巴馬警告普亭說，莫斯科若堅決支持武裝民兵行動，將面臨「更大代價」；普亭則否認俄國挑起暴亂，並要歐巴馬阻止烏克蘭鎮壓東部。美俄通話沒有實質進展。
