測速桿密設搶錢? 警方：遏止死亡車禍

台九線南迴公路台東縣境內的太麻里鄉「美和」至「華源」路段，短短二點五公里路程內，就裝設了三支測速照相桿，有民眾抱怨「又是來搶錢的」，但警方澄清，增加測速照相桿，是希望提醒民眾不要超速行駛。

警方表示，台東縣境內的太麻里鄉「美和」至「華源」路段美，是雙向四線車道，加上道路筆直路況良好，經常有駕駛人違規超車、超速情形，去年當地路段就發生四件、六人死亡、四人輕重傷的交通事故。經當地村民積極反映後，經台東縣道安會報決議，由警察局邀集工務段、鄉公所等相關路權單位，到現地會勘後，分別在容易肇事路段裝設測速照相桿，以遏阻死亡車禍再發生。
