失業偷竊被捕…警掏千元救急

台中市李姓單親父親，因年後遭裁員，為養育女兒，屢次竊取電纜線換取金錢，昨天凌晨被警方查獲，當時李男身無分文，熱心員警自掏腰包，送1千元紅包，給他暫時應急。

警方調查，李姓男子（64年次），去年12月即被查獲竊取電纜線，昨日凌晨4時25分許，又再犯案。他將竊來的電纜線，裝入3個白色米袋，行經清水區臨港路6段時，看見員警巡邏，旋即折返，員警發現他行跡可疑上前盤查，共查獲22.6公斤電纜線及鉗子、刀片等作案工具。警訊時，李說，原為碼頭工人，年後遭裁員，為養家才鋌而走險犯案。
