最新「米桶挑戰」　把食物給最需要的人

「冰桶挑戰」以慈善為出發點，在全球各地發酵，印度有人發起「米桶挑戰」，但他們不是用米來淋頭澆身，而是捐出一桶米，並和受贈者合照，把物資直接送給最需要的人。
 
英國《鏡報》報導，這種挑戰是印度38歲記者卡拉尼迪（Manju Latha Kalanidhi）所發起，她認為世界上受飢餓所苦的人太多，而且「飢餓這種病是所有人都可能得到的」。米桶挑戰參加方法相當簡單，只要從廚房撈出一桶米，拿給你附近最需要的人，接著再挑戰你的朋友。這種方法不會流於作秀娛樂，還能把物資給最需要的人。（余浚安／綜合外電報導）
