美國第二季GDP強勁成長4% 內部卻有虛弱的一面

2014年第二季，美國經濟成長4%，創2013年秋季以來最快速度。第一季GDP亦由下降2.9%修正為下降2.1%。

美國經濟是否動了起來？紐約時報分析師鄂文(Neil Irwin)說，沒月那麼快。「這是好消息，卻有著利空內容，」他說。

「第二季的成長，大部份係由庫存所推動，」他說。「這對未來了無幫助，這只意味倉庫中或貨架上，東西變多了，這表示未來幾季，成長恐不會大幅度邁進。」

然而，鄂文對未來幾季的展望，仍屬穩固。下降2.1%不是經濟的真實情況，他說。「成長4%也不是當下真實的趨勢，經濟可能並不如外表上的好。」

鄂文預期，今年成長率仍將介於2%至2.5%。「這是穩健成長，不是衰退，不是下滑，但亦不是擴張榮景，」他說。

台北時間02:00 Fed主席葉倫將發布貨幣政策聲明，鄂文不認為今日的GDP報告會影響減碼購債。「幾乎可以確定，他們將會持續減碼購債，直到10月結束此一計劃，」他補充說到。
