台北市立動物園與新光金控舉辦的「2014新光公益路跑，為保育野生動物而跑」，在動物園前馬路開跑，呼籲社會大眾重視野生動物及棲地的保育工作。有民眾變裝成各種動物，一同為保育動物而跑。
