羅智強要做基隆事長 不選基隆市長

羅智強今天下午宣布確定不參選市長，要推動基隆台北合併。記者游明煌／攝影
總統府前副秘書長羅智強今天下午兩點半在基隆舉行記者會，他說，要做「基隆事長」，推動基隆台北合併這件事的事長，不是要參選基隆市長。被問及如果議長黃景泰被撤銷提名，他會不會考慮參選？羅智強回答「還是確定不會參選，選舉目前對我來說是句點」。

他說，他不會選基隆市長，市長人選是誰固然很重要，但完成基北合併，比誰當市長更重要，若理念能實現，「成功不必在我」。他只是提出一個公共政策討論的議題，希望可以成為合併議題發酵的起點。

他說目前不會參選的想法很確定，因為黃景泰涉弊後，讓他重新思考，制度會比人來的重要。
